Calmness around the farm

We have been having a very relaxing week! I am off from school and my internship this week so we've have time to get caught up on some things. Just thought I would share some pics from the past couple of weeks!

Here's one of Ben sitting on my mom's VERY old dog. He's about 13 and Ben thought it would be a good Idea to jump on him!! We would have gotten him off if my mom and I could have stopped laughing long enough!!

Here's one of Ben w/ my sisters puppies. He wasn't too impressed with them though. They kept ganging up on him and biting him!!

Here's our most recent family picture! We had a picnic at my sisters so we could all play with the puppies since they were leaving the following weekend.

Spring Days on the Farm!

This is a picture of Ian, Ben and Bubba. Bubba is the best steer we have ever had! He's so gentle and kind! He lets Ben pet him all the time and has even given him a real cowlick! It was just about the most disgusting thing I've ever seen... but Ben didn't seem to mind.

Good morning Everyone! We hope that everyone is doing well and enjoying this beautiful weather that we are having.

Things are pretty busy around here these days. Mark is working from about 5:30-6 until 7, 8 or 9 right now. We are going out and visiting him quite a bit now. Ben really starts to miss him throughout the day. I am currently 2 finals away from graduating! I can not wait! I'm so excited to be done with classes and homework and boring readings! I graduate Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.

Ben is Ben. His life isn't hectic at all :) He however has started waking up at 6:00 a.m. It is killing his mommy, but he doesn't really seem to care! I think as soon as he sees it's light out, he wants to be up and going. We can't keep him inside anymore. He screams and throws a fit if we don't go outside. So we're going to try a towel over his window and block out that 6 a.m. sunlight!!

Here's a picture of Ben and his buddy Ian. He is ALWAYS sitting on top of him! You'd think that Ian was the younger one of the two! Ian is so sweet spirited though. He never says anything and Ben just does whatever he wants around him. This is the only instance that I see Ben being a bully... usually everyone is picking on him!
